Yuki-Onna Revisted

If you haven't heard the Japanese mythology behind Yuki-Onna, she's a snow demon with vampiric tendencies. She embraces mostly young men and drains their life from them. It struck me as a rather lonely sort of existence, killing anyone you loved... thus the picture.

At first, I did the whole thing in gimp (like photoshop, only open source) but I missed the texture of the colored pencils. So I overlapped the two. I rather like the effect.
